Welcome to Derby Grammar School - an independent day school in Derbyshire

Derby Grammar School is an independent day school for boys aged 7 to 16 and girls and boys in the Sixth Form. Our school has three distinct sections: Junior School for boys aged 7 to 11, our Senior School for boys aged 11 to 16 which is in turn divided into the Lower and Upper School and our co-educational Sixth Form. We aim to deliver an excellent education, supported by a broad and exciting range of activities outside of the classroom. Pupils are supported throughout their time in the School by an experienced and caring staff.

As a relatively small school we can focus on the development of each pupil as an individual, providing them with the opportunities and the support to enable them to flourish in all areas of school life.
